“Rosencrantz and Guildenstern may be dead; Defiant Theatre’s Hamlet most certainly is not.”
Chicago Reader
So maybe you’ve seen or read Hamlet before, but we guaranteed something different. Fast, dark and uniquely American–no swords, no tights, no men with British accents. An urban, modern Denmark in decay was our setting for Shakespeare’s classic tale of murder, lust, family and revenge.
You know–a Christmas play.
